Can I make a booking across the weekend?

YES. Due to the limited capacity, and the time restraints to booking slots, please arrive on time as we wont be able to extend booking times.

In line with NSW government regulations all patrons are to be seated, and drinks are to be served with or ancillary to a meal. We also require a name and phone number of all patrons within your booking. We also request everyone to wash your hands on arrival at the wash station immediately inside the front door, and please respect social distancing guidelines.

What about a weekday booking?

Yes, same rules as weekends. Please use our online booking button.

Do you hire out the venue for Functions?

While we appreciate the thought, No the venue is not available for hire as we want to be able to trade consistently as we are.

What hours does your kitchen operate?

Our kitchen is open from 11.30 am till close every day we are open.

Do you sell merchandise?

Yes, we do. We have men’s & women’s shirts, hats and branded beer glasses. All available from the venue over the bar.

Do you sell “mainstream” beer?

No we don’t. We have 21 taps of 100% independently owned Australian craft beer & cider.

Do you have wheelchair access?

Unfortunately, due to the age of our building (over 130 years) and each entrance having 5 stairs it makes it difficult. The staff are more than happy to assist with any lifting up the stairs if required. Also for reference, the doorways to the toilets are only 750mm wide. Our apologies for any inconvenience.

Are children permitted?

Children are most definitely welcome. We have 4 highchairs for use, board games, an arcade machine & activity packs with the Kids menu to keep them entertained.
COVID-19 Clause – We request that no children are booked in for our late-night session from 7.45pm – 10pm

Can we bring a cake?

More than welcome to bring a cake and we will happily store it in our cool room if necessary at no extra cost.

Does the venue have a private area?

No. The venue is one big space with a variety of seating options available, but not a private area.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

We sure do, they are available in $25 increments and are available via https://www.grainstore.beer/purchase-e-gift-voucher/

Do you have any live entertainment?

We have solo or duo artists every Saturday and Sunday between 2pm & 5pm.

Can I run a bar tab?

Yes, we accept credit cards to set up a bar tabs.

Do you show any sport?

We have 2 TV’s hidden by mirrors that show as much live sport as possible and a big 3m wide projector screen to showcase major sporting events during the year.

How often do you change your beers on tap?

Daily, we generally get between 1 to 2 kegs of any beer and once that beer is gone we change it over to a different brewery but similar style. Do you sell takeaway alcohol?

Unfortunately, due to our license restrictions we are unable to sell any takeaway alcohol.

What events do you hold?

We have a monthly beer dinner event with selected independent breweries form across the country, as well as our annual Australia Day, Super Bowl party, , St Patrick’s Day, 4th July, IPA Day, Oktoberfest & Melbourne Cup events! All these can be found in the events tab or on our Facebook page.

Are you dog friendly?

As much as we love dogs ourselves, No we don’t sorry.
